Independent Contractor Status
The Representative operates as an independent contractor and not an employee of LIFE Guaranteed. The Representative is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and business expenses.
Role and Responsibilities
The Representative's role is to market, educate, and introduce individuals and/or organizations to the LIFE Guaranteed Insurance Program. The Representative shall conduct business in a professional manner and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Commission Compensation
Commissions are paid as-earned. Commission payout occurs monthly on the 10th of each month for the previous month's business. Commission rates are outlined in the separate commission schedule provided by LIFE Guaranteed.
Chargebacks
If a policy cancels or lapses within the applicable carrier reversal period, commissions may be charged back. The Representative agrees to repay any charged-back commissions upon request.
Confidentiality
The Representative agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding business, client, and proprietary information obtained during the course of business with LIFE Guaranteed.
Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice to the other party. Upon termination, all outstanding commissions shall be paid in accordance with the normal commission schedule.
Compliance and Regulations
The Representative agrees to comply with all applicable state and federal insurance regulations, maintain proper licensing, and conduct business in accordance with industry best practices and LIFE Guaranteed policies.
Marketing Materials
All marketing materials must be approved by LIFE Guaranteed prior to use. The Representative may not create, distribute, or use any unauthorized materials that misrepresent LIFE Guaranteed products or services.
Client Relationship Management
The Representative is responsible for maintaining professional relationships with clients, providing accurate information, and ensuring customer satisfaction while representing LIFE Guaranteed.
Training and Development
The Representative agrees to participate in required training sessions and stay current with product knowledge, industry changes, and company policies to provide excellent service to clients.
Data Privacy and Security
The Representative must protect all client and company data, comply with privacy regulations, and immediately report any security breaches or data compromises to LIFE Guaranteed.
